Hey ho,
I study history @ University of Oldenburg, Germany.
Making pictures and travelling through the time is a hobby of mine. Here I want to share my pictures with you because I love deviantArt and all your fantastic works out there.
Thank you so much for sharing your art with everyone.
As I love the idea of true chivalry - which means the ideals of courage, gallantry, fidelity, strenght and altruism - my focus is on men who give their lives to save others.
There can`t be any greater evidence of love & faith than that sacrifice.
Because of this I primary try to make pictures of modern police special commandos: Those guys don`t earn a lot of money, their names must be hidden... they rescue our lives and give theirs for us but we can not say thank you to them... besides it looks pretty cool
Might be a little bit ironic considering my pictures but I myself don`t like violence. It`s only acceptable as "Ultima Ratio" if everything else has failed... so the usage of violence itself is already a big defeat. But as a realist I know that there can not be peace or freedom in life without beeing at least able to defend it. Furthermore I`m just good in it. Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum.
Besides I work for a global safety&security company and I am a teacher of Western Martial Arts (WMA) so I can use different types of gear for my projects.
Tyr was the ancient german god of war... and Apollo was the greek god of light, morality and arts. The combination of both names expresses the two sides of my character that I hold together.
(Btw. it`s a big childhood dream of mine to play a part in a Fantasy or Sci Fi Movie one day... ^^ )
